Shanghai Unitary Quantum Technology Co., Ltd. ,founded in January 2025 by a top-tier quantum scientific computing team from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is a hard-tech enterprise focused on full-stack capabilities in "quantum algorithms + software platforms." The company is the world's first builder of an Agent-driven full-link quantum scientific computing platform, positioning itself as "an innovator and enabler of quantum algorithms" dedicated to bridging quantum computing from theoretical research to engineering validation and industrial application, addressing the computational bottlenecks of classical computing in high-dimensional complex problems.

The company's core competitive advantage stems from its original "Schrödingerization" algorithm framework developed in 2022, which overcomes the industry bottleneck that traditional quantum algorithms cannot directly solve general scientific computing problems. This framework transforms classical mathematical problems such as partial differential equations into unitary evolution forms processable by quantum computers, achieving exponential computational acceleration for high-dimensional scenarios.

Its flagship product, the UnitaryLab quantum scientific computing platform (now at version 2.0), is the world's first Agent-driven full-link quantum scientific computing platform. It covers over 50 core capabilities across 10 major categories, including linear algebra, differential equations, Hamiltonian simulation, quantum optimization, quantum machine learning, and cryptography. With natural language interaction support, users can complete full-link quantum computing tasks without specialized quantum computing backgrounds. The company also maintains an open-source quantum algorithm library, enabling secondary development for the global research and industrial community. The platform is compatible with mainstream quantum hardware architectures and has been deployed in fintech, materials science, industrial simulation, meteorology, and energy sectors.

The core team comprises mathematicians, physicists, AI experts, and software engineers with deep academic foundations and industrial implementation experience. Founder & CEO Zhang Lei is a gold medalist of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), B.S. from Peking University, Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Caltech, postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute (Germany) and the University of Oxford (UK), and Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with three decades of expertise in numerical quantum mechanics and partial differential equation solving. CTO Hu Junpeng holds a Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is a recipient of the Zhiyuan Honors Program, and specializes in quantum algorithm engineering. The algorithm R&D team exceeds 15 members, all from top universities, with technical achievements selected for the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Outstanding Results Compilation.

Leveraging Shanghai Jiao Tong University's innovation ecosystem, the company has established strategic partnerships with leading hardware enterprises such as QuantumCTek and top scientific engineering software companies, building an integrated industry-academia-research ecosystem. It collaborates with leading clients in vertical sectors including finance, materials, energy, and advanced manufacturing to drive the integration of "supercomputing – intelligent computing – quantum computing."

The "Schrödingerization" algorithm system has received national-level academic recognition, being selected as a representative achievement in mathematics by the National Natural Science Foundation of China's annual report, and recognized among Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Top 10 Science and Technology Advances, included in its 2030 Initiative.

Since March 2026, the company has completed seed and angel rounds of financing, with investments from the Ministry of Finance SME Development Fund, Oriza Seed, Oriental Fortune Capital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Alumni Fund, Shenzhen Capital Group, Zizhu Xiaomiao, and Jiaming Haochun. Funds are primarily allocated to algorithm iteration, platform R&D, and industry expansion, accelerating the democratization and industrialization of quantum computing.
